Sue Steakley

Sue was born in Houston, Texas, and soon moved to Knox City in West Texas. At age 10, she and her parents moved to Temple and really never left! She graduated from Baylor University in Waco in 1972, one day before her daughter, SueAnn was born. In 1974 Sue opened her own photographic studio and has been in business ever since. One of her favorite subjects is a bride-to-be! Sue earned the Master of Photography degree from Professional Photographers of America and has had many prints published and many accepted for the International Traveling Loan Collection. As an example of America's best photographers, Sue's work has been displayed at Walt Disney World's Epcot Center. She is a member of Texas Professional Photographers, Professional Photographers of America, and the American Society of Photographers.

Sue has always carried around a camera and now is having fun sharing her talent with her grandchildren, Tyler Day and Colby McClaren, and Brooke Altman. She is on the video team at her church, First Baptist Church of Temple, TX.
